SHARED VISION THROUGH INCLUSIVE, MULTI-BENEFIT REGIONAL PLANNING Engage with Regional Partners to Inform High Quality Planning and Implementation
This project is part of a multi-phased planning effort to promote wildfire resiliency and forest health on the Sonoma Coast. The project will introduce large scale burning and grazing as priority treatments combined with manual and mechanical treatments on up to 300 acres of overly dense timber stands and excess fuel loading. A CalVTP has been completed for one project stage and technical assistance is needed to develop a broad scale VTP for the treatable landscape in the area rendering project readiness for proposed projects. Assistance is also needed for project development, grant writing support, mapping/GIS, and preparing these files for uploading to online grant applications.
