VITAL AND SUSTAINABLE LOCAL ECONOMIES
Prioritize Plans, Projects and Actions that Result in Long Term Sustainability of Jobs & Revenues
Develop a pilot business venture under the umbrella of our non-profit to facilitate and broker woody biomass for landowners, forest stewardship projects, and biomass utilization businesses. Currently, FRG’s emphasis is on harvesting and distributing small-diameter poles, but this business will encompass a variety of sustainable forest products. In the development of our business we will research the feasibility of starting an aggregation yard to provide a reliable supply of small diameter round poles to local businesses.
