CLEAN AND ABUNDANT WATER FOR HUMAN COMMUNITIES
Ensure Water Supply Reliability and Quality
This project will replace approximately 854 residential and approximately 19 commercial inefficient water meters with new ones to conserve water. Once completed, this project will conserve approximately 70 acre-feet of water per year by detecting leaks and having District Staff repair the leak immediately; reduce lead concentrations in domestic supplies; allow the Hoopa Valley Public Utilities District to accurately monitor water use; and report accurate consumption amounts to consumers.
