Implementation
The intention of this contract is to support the development of landscape scale projects that are implementation
ready, prioritizing the following criteria:
• Long-term plan should have multi-objective, programmatic, landscape scale outcomes. Smaller projects or
project elements that fit into a longer-term plan or project portfolio are also acceptable (i.e.,
demonstration projects that can be expanded in scope if successful).
• Connectivity/adjacency: while individual projects do not need to be connected or adjacent, priority
projects should support a larger landscape-scale effort

Humboldt County RCD (HCRCD) will develop a project pipeline for future conservation projects that enhance the lands of Humboldt County. HCRCD will conduct outreach to tribes, regional organizations, and other potential project proponents to develop a list of potential projects and project partners, identify project development steps; provide grant writing support for landscape-scale, community supported projects; review forestry related projects in the NCRP Project Tracker and contact project sponsors for updates, if necessary, and upload any new projects into the NCRP Project Tracker.
