Water quality monitoring equipment will be installed to provide continuous monitoring, data logging, and alarms for samples taken from the tank outlet pipe for chlorine residual, pH, and temperature, as well as providing an onsite display of these parameters and of tank water levels. A water flow meter will be installed on the 12” tank outlet pipe for monitoring storage tank detention time. The existing pressure transducer equipment will also be upgraded.

Happy Camp Community Services District installed new water quality monitoring equipment, 12” flow meter (at Tank outlet) and a new pressure transducer at their primary storage tank. This data will provide water quality information for drinking water before the water enters the water distribution system in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency LT1/LT2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rules.
